Wolfgang Ratzek
Künstler des Farbismus, 1963 in Konstanz geboren, lebt – abgesehen von kurzen Unterbrechungen – von Kind an in Allensbach. Die Malerei hat ihn immer begleitet und wurde in den letzten Jahren zum intensiven Alltagsausgleich. Beeinflusst haben seine Bilder Werke namhafter Expressionisten, mit denen er sich intensiv auseinandergesetzt hat. Mit seinen Bildern will Wolfgang Ratzek ein breites Publikum ansprechen, daher trifft man vermehrt auch in öffentlich zugänglichen Räumen, wie Hotels, Restaurants, Arztpraxen etc. der Region auf eine Auswahl seiner Bilder.
Die expressiven und farbintensiven Bilder von Wolfgang Ratzek – meist großformatig in Öl – entstehen in unterschiedlichen Maltechniken. So findet man neben sehr aufwendiger, in liebevoller Detail-Arbeit gestalteter Graffiti-Malerei großflächige Farbkompositionen, die in mehreren Arbeitsprozessen entstehen. Pasteuse, expressive Malerei mit meist figurativen Motiven runden das Sujet ab.
Neben der Malerei entstehen Collagen – oft zu zeitkritischen Themen – für die im Allgemeinen Naturprodukte Verwendung finden. Weitere Kunstobjekte fertigt der Künstler beispielsweise aus alten Schallplatten. So kreiert er originelle Blumenarrangements, die dekorativ eingesetzt werden können.
In seinem „Atelier des Farbismus“ präsentiert der Künstler gerne – nach terminlicher Absprache – seine Bilder und Kunstobjekte.
